SIGMA STAR SERVICE L.T.D. is a small reseach and micro-production company has operated in Romania since 1991. Our company has experise in a diverse range of industries: nuclear power, civil and industrial constructions, auto-motive, agriculture and environmental protection.

SIGMA STAR SERVICE L.T.D. owns a significant number of patents that underlie its development of new products and technologies in the areas mentioned above. Our projects are now in various stages of implementation according to the requests of the different clients interested in the applications of our researach results.

Our products include, as follows:
  • Mechanical devices for reducing shocks, vibrations and seismic movements affecting buildings, equipment and pipe networks.
  • Light prefabricated elements and new technologies enabling fast construction of multi – layer, reliable and inexpensive buildings with mechanical, seismic, fire and mould intrinsic resistance.
  • Novel equipment and technologies for de-dusting industrial gaseous effluents for any debit rates, including small and average flow rates.
  • New equipment and technologies for water treatment and depollution.
  • New equipment and technologies for sustainable, environmentally friendly development of agriculture on a large scale.
  • New components and technologies for the construction of wide – span bridges without expansion joints, highly resistant to winds and seismic loads, and tolerant to limitted support.

Our company has primary expertise in the fabrication of non-linear elastic and asymmetrical supports and devices with high damping applicable to equipment, machines, railway waggons etc. We also have experise in tuned mass damping employed for structures like bridges, stacks, columns, buildings, historical monuments etc.

Our company provides partial and fully-integrated services such as research, design, engineering, delivery of devices and supports for damping shocks, vibrations and seismic movements in equipment, buildings and pipe networks.
